Who We Are:

Community Services Coordination Network (CSCN) coordinates access to services and supports for adults with a developmental disability, and for children and adolescents with complex needs in the Southwest region of Ontario. CSCN's dedicated staff connect, collaborate, and engage with individuals, families, service providers, and community partners to support people in navigating developmental services.

Who You Are:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate the Residential Placement Advisory Committee process. The successful candidate will be highly organized and demonstrate initiative, along with strong facilitation and coordination skills. You are comfortable using technology and able to learn and navigate a database system to support accurate coordination, documentation, and record-keeping.

What You Will Do:
The Residential Placement Advisory Committee (RPAC) is a mandated service under the Child and Family Services Act, designed to ensure that children and youth residing in live-in programs away from their family homes are being appropriately supported. Reviews are conducted routinely for each child or youth placed in a licensed live-in program serving ten or more individuals when the placement is expected to exceed three months. Any child or youth living in foster care or a group home of any size may also request a review.

The RPAC Service Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and orienting RPAC members; interviewing young people, service providers, and guardians to gather information for reviews; facilitating RPAC meetings; and completing all required documentation. CSCN is responsible for delivering RPAC service coordination across the regions of London/Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, Huron, Perth, Grey-Bruce, Sarnia/Lambton, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor-Essex.

At present, the work of the RPAC Service Coordinator is primarily carried out virtually; however, some travel may be required. All responsibilities are performed in accordance with policies, guidelines, and directives established by the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA), ensuring accountability, compliance, and consistent service delivery. The RPAC Service Coordinator may also assume additional responsibilities related to children’s services as required.

What Experience You Bring:
You have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience working in children’s mental health and/or developmental services and formal education of an undergraduate degree or equivalent, in a field related to human services, along with the following:
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and facilitation skills, and a strong ability to summarize data in a report form
• Experience and demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings (virtual and in-person) with multiple interest holders with competing perspectives
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to handle difficult conversations and facilitate solution-focused resolution
• Ability to interpret legislation, government policy, and guidelines
• A valid Ontario Driver’s License, access to a reliable vehicle, and the willingness to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario, and work flexible hours as required

We Offer:
You will work in a human-centered workplace built upon a culture that supports staff growth and learning. We promote work/life balance, belonging, and employee wellness and offer hybrid and flexible work arrangements. This is a part-time position. The hourly rate will be based on the full-time salary range of $55,851–$63,189, which is $30.69–$34.72 per hour. Comprehensive medical and dental benefits are included.
