1. How can I make a donation to Pillar Nonprofit Network?

It’s easy! You can donate online through our secure website, send a cheque to our mailing address, or contact us directly for other ways to give. Every dollar makes a difference in supporting our programs and the nonprofits we serve.


2. Will I get a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes! Pillar Nonprofit Network is a registered charity, and all eligible donations receive a tax receipt. For credit card donations, we use CanadaHelps, a secure online donation portal, which will send your tax receipt immediately by email. For other donation methods, like cheques, we’ll send your tax receipt via email or mail shortly after receiving your gift.


3. What do my donations support?

Your donations help us strengthen the nonprofit sector, provide training, mentorship, and resources to community organizations, and maintain Innovation Works, our collaborative co-working space. Check out our Impact Reports to see the difference your support makes!


4. Can I make a recurring donation?

Absolutely! Recurring donations are an easy way to make an ongoing impact. Choose a monthly or annual donation option when you donate online, and you can cancel or adjust it anytime.


5. What is the difference between a donation and a sponsorship?

Donations are financial gifts that directly support our work, and donors receive a tax receipt. Sponsorships are partnerships where your business supports our events, programs, or initiatives, and in return, we provide recognition and marketing opportunities.


6. How can my business become a sponsor?

We’d love to collaborate! Sponsorship opportunities include event partnerships, program support, or naming rights. Contact us to explore a customized sponsorship package that aligns with your goals.


7. Can I apply for a grant from Pillar Nonprofit Network?

Pillar does not provide grants directly but supports nonprofits in applying for grants through coaching, training, and resources. Visit our Resource Hub for a list of funding opportunities.


8. Can I donate in honor of someone?

Yes! You can dedicate your donation in honor or memory of a loved one. Just select the option when you donate online or let us know when you make your gift. We’ll send a card or email to notify the honoree or their family.


9. How do I know my donation is being used effectively?

We are committed to transparency and accountability. You can view our annual reports and audited financial statements on our website. If you have specific questions, feel free to contact us directly.
