Kickstart your Nonprofit Fundraising Plan 2023

Fundraising is about inviting people to be part of something worthwhile, something bigger than they are, something meaningful that changes lives. The reality is that for many nonprofit organizations, fundraising can often feel overwhelming. Do you have a lot of fundraising questions and are you unsure who to ask or where to start?

Join us for this fundraising workshop to learn how to increase fundraising dollars by assessing your current fundraising efforts, building a fundraising plan based on your strengths and opportunities, crafting a case that encourages support, and understanding the basics of various fundraising strategies. With common-sense tips and effective strategies that are easy to implement, even the most overwhelmed team member will leave energized.

Do these questions sound familiar?

  • What are we doing well and not so well in our fundraising?
  • What strategies should we focus our fundraising efforts on?
  • How do I find time to do the high priority/non-deadline driven fundraising tasks?
  • How do we create our case for support?
  • Where do we store all this donor information, and what should we do with that information?
  • How do we actually invite a donor to a fundraising meeting/Zoom call, and what do we say in the meeting?

These are a few of the questions that Larissa Stoddart from Growth & Co. often gets asked. She wants to explore the answers and help you build and sustain a strong fund development program for your organization.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Founder Larissa Stoddart understands better than many that a series of small, generous gestures can change lives. After experiencing significant challenges throughout childhood, she became the first in her family to break generational cycles of trauma. Thanks to great mentors and a significant donation, she also became the first in her family to graduate from university. It was an interaction with a generous philanthropist and the impact that donation had on her life that inspired Larissa on her path to help organizations raise the money they need to do their good work.

Larissa has worked with CEOs, Executive Directors, fundraising staff, and donors to enhance the capacity of fundraising operations within organizations– essential to building trust with donors and securing funding for the people who need it.

Through her services she teaches fundraisers how to assess their operations, create feasible fundraising plans that attract diverse revenue, and craft compelling cases that cause donors to give. By doing so, she hopes to create opportunities for others to access donor funding in ways that can change their lives, too.
