Invasive Plants of London, ON

Identifying invasive species can be tricky, so how do you know when you’ve found one, and what’s the right response to help restore your local ecosystem?

Thanks to Nature Canada’s Young Leaders grant, we’re hosting a unique two-part event, where you’ll learn about common invasive and native plant species in London, ON. We’ll teach you about 6 common invasive species in London, ON, what can be done about them, and what native plants can be effective after an invasive species has been removed.

After this presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to connect your new-found knowledge to the plants around the Westminster Ponds Centre, a provincially significant wetland.
