GLIMMER IS BACK FOR MORE!
Your favourite monthly event just keeps getting better, and we have YOU to thank for it!
Thanks to your support, Wortley Pride, alongside the Glimmer Committee, has been able to create a recurring, consistent and welcoming event that brings our community together, supports local art and puts representation at the forefront.
Our gracious hosts at the Victory Legion have helped us continue to grow GLIMMER by providing a fully accessible venue. We’re now downstairs, which means even more room for dancing, socializing, networking or simply enjoying the atmosphere.
With inclusivity in mind, we also understand the importance of de-centering alcohol at events and in community spaces. The venue offers sober-conscious options so everyone can feel comfortable and included.
GLIMMER is more than a dance and social event. It also supports the local arts community by providing a platform for local and out-of-town performers to showcase their talent in a welcoming and supportive space.
