Our mission is simple: Achieve Gender Equality

Our values are simple, too: 

• - We aim to create networks and share knowledge and training between 2SLGBTQI+ and other organizations.
• - We advocate for increasing access to services for trans and non-binary people.
• - We promote the inclusion and well-being of gay, lesbian, racialized, refugee, and newcomer communities.
• - We work to build links between 2SLGBTQI+ communities and non-2SLGBTQI+ communities in order to remove barriers for 2SLGBTQ+ people.
• - We challenge gender related systemic barriers.
• - We endeavour to confront sexist thinking and internalized oppression.
• - We strive to practice critical self reflection.
• - We seek to raise consciousness and expectations.
• - We identify and challenge exclusions and stereotypes.
• - We want to end sexism, exploitation, and oppression in all of its forms.

Community representation is essential in the collaborative efforts towards gender justice. We believe that gender justice can only be achieved when all intersectional genders are included. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, valuing individuals from all intersectionalities - all genders, cultures, ages, races, orientations, locations, and abilities.

We are a group of engaged humans working together to make change for good. We are passionate about intersectional inclusion and care a whole lot about gender equality and actively seeking opportunities to enhance gender inclusion.

• - Rainbow Connections is a transformative program that fosters a sense of belonging, radical acceptance, and inclusion for trans and 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Southwestern Ontario. By providing a safe space, Rainbow Connections empowers these young individuals to build meaningful connections and peer relationships within their communities. Rainbow Connections currently opperates 3 social groups and special programming in St Thomas, ON and surrounding area with plans to expand into rural communities.
