Progressive Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) is seeking a dedicated and skilled volunteer to join our Technology Team. This role will closely collaborate with our marketing team and Operations team to support various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess experience in utilizing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads to optimize our online presence and drive engagement. As a Website Developer, you will play a crucial role in helping PAWS raise awareness, increase support, and promote animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with other website developers on the overall vision and strategy of the website design and operation.

  2. Updating the website layout and content as-needed

  3. Work with various stakeholders to delegate website maintenance activities along with establishing the appropriate control mechanisms 

  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies on the PAWS website.

  5. Utilize Google Analytics to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates, providing valuable insights to optimize marketing campaigns and website useability 

  6. Leverage Google Tag Manager to track key metrics, generate reports, and enhance website performance.

  7. Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, to increase PAWS' visibility and attract potential supporters.

  8. Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

  9. Monitor and evaluate campaign performance using relevant analytics tools, making data-driven recommendations for enhancement.

  10. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for the website and other communication channels.

  11. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to digital marketing and animal welfare.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong knowledge and experience with website development and content management systems , with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.

  2. Strong Wordpress and Elementor experience mandatory

  3. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads, preferable

  4. Experience in website development and user experience optimization

  5. Passionate about animal welfare and aligning with PAWS' mission and values.

  6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  7. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.

  9. Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

  10. Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, or related fields is preferred, but not required.

Commitment:
