About Us:

Progressive Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping pets and their families stay together during times of crisis. Our work is currently focused in London, Ontario, where the City of London is our primary municipal partner.

  • Maintain and update the PAWS website to ensure content is accurate, functional, and aligned with current campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Fundraising, Marketing, and Digital Strategy leads to support website goals and messaging.

  • Perform routine website maintenance, including plugin updates, layout improvements, and content adjustments.

  • Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and accessibility.

  • Utilize Google Analytics (and/or other tracking tools) to review traffic trends and website engagement.

  • Support the development of campaigns, pages, and landing experiences that drive awareness and participation.

  • Ensure the website reflects PAWS’ mission, values, and key messaging in a clear and accessible manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience working with WordPress and Elementor is required.

  • Understanding of website design principles, UX/UI, and accessibility best practices.

  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical or layout issues.

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or Google Ads is an asset (not required).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage updates in a responsive timeframe.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Passion for animal welfare and alignment with PAWS’ values and mission.

Commitment:

  • Term: Minimum 6 months preferred.

  • Hours: Approximately 3–5 hours per week.

  • Location: Remote.

  • Meetings: Attendance at occasional team meetings as needed.
