Who we are:
The Original Kids Board of Directors is seeking 2-3 new members for their team! If you have a passion for the arts, a commitment to youth and a desire to be part of a strong community to support the mission of Original Kids Theatre Company, we would love to hear from you!
Original Kids is an exciting place to be! The Main Cast Company is an ensemble of 300 kids between the ages of 8 and 18 who participate in two productions a year. We strive to work with the young casts to help them grow both as artists and as people. Our artistic and technical staff are talented and hard-working individuals who are committed to showcasing the best of every child. Our Kidlets program for ages 5-9 invites younger children to explore self-expression and creativity through theatre, music, movement and art. Each summer, Camp OK offers outstanding theatre-based programming and summer fun and friendships.
As a Board Member, you will offer strategic guidance and support for OKTC’s mission. Your time commitment is important. The Board meets once a month, with occasional additional meetings. We welcome those who wish to make a difference and we have a keen interest in hearing from those with financial, fundraising, grant/resource development, and EDI-D expertise.
