Who We Are & What We Care About

London Bridge is entering an exciting new chapter—and we’re looking for a thoughtful, values-driven leader to  help guide the way.

As one of the largest early years organizations in the region, our team of over 500 employees supports  approximately 1,200 families across London, Middlesex, Huron, and Lambton. Together, we are committed to  nurturing curious minds and kind hearts—not only in children, but in the educators and teams who support  them.

We believe meaningful learning happens in environments where people feel valued, heard, and inspired to  grow. Our culture is collaborative and reflective, grounded in continuous learning and courageous leadership.  Guided by Ontario’s early years framework and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and  belonging, we strive to create spaces where everyone can thrive.

Our commitment to equity, social justice, and environmental responsibility is not an add-on to our work—it is  part of how we make decisions every day. We are actively working toward decolonization and embedding  equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging into our practices, relationships, and systems. This work is ongoing  and, at times, challenging. We are looking for a leader who is willing to stay engaged in that work—someone  who approaches it with humility, courage, and a genuine commitment to learning and unlearning alongside  our community.

The Kind of Leader We’re Hoping to Meet

You are a relational leader—someone who understands that at the heart of childcare are the connections we  build with one another.

You bring both clarity and compassion to your work. You’re comfortable holding complexity, making  thoughtful decisions, and leading with intention. You value diverse perspectives, create space for others to  contribute, and foster environments where people feel a genuine sense of belonging.

You care deeply about the early years sector and are motivated by the opportunity to strengthen it—for  children, for families, and for the educators who make this work possible.

You are also committed to equity and inclusion in practice. You understand that this work requires reflection,  curiosity, and a willingness to stay engaged—even when it feels complex. You approach conversations around  decolonization, equity, and belonging with openness and care, and you help ensure these values are reflected  in everyday decisions.

Most of all, you lead with empathy. You recognize that while our work exists within Ontario’s regulatory and  administrative frameworks, every decision we make has a human impact—and that matters.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is the organization’s senior leader, responsible for  advancing the mission, ensuring operational excellence, and strengthening London Bridge’s long-term  sustainability. You will provide clear strategic direction, oversee programs and operations, and serve as the  organization’s primary ambassador.

This role calls for thoughtful leadership and steady stewardship. You will guide a complex, multi-site  organization through ongoing transformation in the early years sector, while keeping quality, sustainability, and  core values at the center of every decision.

To support a strong and successful transition, the successful candidate will begin in September 2026 and work  alongside the current Executive Director through December 2026. This overlap is designed to foster  relationship-building, knowledge sharing, and a confident start in the role.
