Position Overview: 

As theDigital Content Creator, you will assist in the creation of our Learning Management System, maintain our social media channels, create individualized and engaging content that tells stories, and work with our marketing and leadership teams to plan content, including copy, graphics and video.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and transform in-person, career-focused courses into engaging online formats using Learning Management Systems (ex: Brightspace, Moodle, Canvas).

  • Grow and maintain a consistent, engaging presence across all social media channels.

  • Develop compelling stories about our clients, programs, and impact through copy, graphics, and video.

  • Produce instructional videos that are clear, engaging, and aligned with curriculum goals.

  • Tailor content for multiple brands, including Pathways Employment Help Centre, Pathways Career College, Clean Works, and London Community Woodshop.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars with eye-catching posts, stories, and videos.

  • Build relationships with staff and clients to capture authentic stories and feedback.

  • Manage timelines, prioritize projects, and maintain an organized archive of content.

Qualifications:

 Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media, or equivalent experience

1-3 years of demonstrable experience in visual content creation and curation of engaging, compelling and effective content

  • A creative mindset that is focused and innovative, with an eye for visual storytelling

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to interact in a friendly and compassionate manner

  • Well informed of the always changing marketing ad social media industries

  • Strong attention to detail and visual hierarchy with a solid grasp of branding principles and visual consistency

  • Able to work on multiple projects within tight deadlines, independently and in conjunction with various internal teams and clients

  • Awareness of Accessibility Standards

  • Proficient in English (Canada)

 

Assets include experience in non-profit or community-based education, and supporting diverse or marginalized learner populations.

What we offer:

Position: Full time, Days at our 205 Horton Street office

  • Salary Range $45 – 52K annually
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Competitive benefits and vacation
