Digital Marketing and SEO Specialist

Progressive Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) is seeking a dedicated and skilled volunteer to join our technology team. This role will closely collaborate with our website developers and marketing team. 

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in utilizing SEO, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads to optimize our online presence and drive engagement. As a Digital Marketing and SEO Specialist Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in helping PAWS raise awareness, increase support, and promote animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the website developers to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies on the PAWS website.

2. Utilize Google Analytics and SEO to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates, providing valuable insights to optimize marketing campaigns.

3. Implement and manage Google Tag Manager to track key metrics, generate reports, and enhance website performance.

4. Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, to increase PAWS' visibility and attract potential supporters.

5. Conduct research and analysis of industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

6. Monitor and evaluate campaign performance using relevant analytics tools, making data-driven recommendations for enhancement.

7. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.

8. Assist in creating and maintaining email marketing campaigns, ensuring high deliverability and engagement.

9. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to digital marketing and animal welfare.

Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge and experience in utilizing Google Analytics, SEO, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads to optimize online marketing efforts.

2. Familiarity with website development and content management systems, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.

3. Passionate about animal welfare and aligning with PAWS' mission and values.

4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

5. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.

7. Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

8. Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
