Progressive Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) is a compassionate charity based in SW Ontario that is dedicated to ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of our communities during times of crisis. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join us as a Community Engagement Lead. In this role, you will have the incredible opportunity to connect with local businesses, corporations, and service clubs, forging partnerships and seeking sponsorships that will expand access to vital veterinary care for those in need.
At PAWS, we believe that collaboration is the key to success. As the Community Engagement Lead, your primary focus will be establishing meaningful connections within our defined regions. By engaging with service clubs, local businesses, and corporations in SW Ontario, you will identify sponsorship opportunities, explore collaborations, and create employee campaigns that align with our mission. Together, we can provide essential support to pet owners, ensuring that their animal companions receive the care they deserve.
What to Expect:

Developing and implementing an outreach plan and model to connect with service clubs, local businesses, and corporations with a presence in South Western Ontario.

Conducting thorough research to identify potential partnerships and opportunities across our territory, including sponsorships, events, special initiatives, and matching gift programs.

Identifying areas of collaboration that align with the interests of businesses, service clubs, and corporations, considering their employees, community engagement, brand, and business goals.

Editing and adapting prepared materials, such as speeches and handouts, to support outreach efforts with support from our Marketing team.

Collaborating with our Marketing team to design engaging print, radio, TV, or social media content that highlights the support of local businesses.

Reporting to the PAWS Board at meetings to ensure alignment and approval of your initiatives. You will also provide input on the Board's budget, strategy, plans, and goals.
